Economist at NKI-Kyl in Örnsköldsvik – the key role between finance and business

As an economist at NKI-Kyl, you will have a broad and business-oriented role where you combine classic controller work with responsibility for our work order flow. You will be a key person in creating overview, quality, and structure in finance – from the first work order to invoicing and follow-up.

You will work closely with the CEO and other management, and be an important support for managers and project leaders in financial matters. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence how we work, improve our routines, and contribute to the development of the business going forward.

Examples of tasks

• Ongoing financial monitoring, analysis, and reconciliations
• Budgeting and forecasting work as well as reporting to management
• Preparation of clear reports and decision-making materials
• Management, coordination, and follow-up of work orders and order flows
• Ensuring correct documentation, invoicing, and delivery
• Contact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams with a strong focus on service
• Quality assurance and development of processes and routines within finance and order flows
• Payroll management in Fortnox or Visma

You are a confident and self-sufficient economist who thrives when you can combine numbers, structure, and analysis with close collaboration with the business.

We believe that you:

• Have a post-secondary education in finance or equivalent
• Have experience as a controller, accounting economist, or similar role
• Preferably have worked in companies with projects, contracts, or progressive profit recognition
• Are used to working with order flows and administrative processes
• Have excellent skills in Excel and financial systems
• Speak and write Swedish fluently, and have a good command of English
